Ithemba Collection
The Ithemba Collection has been designed and developed by Zawadi for the main purpose of raising much needed funds for Operation Hunger.
Operation Hunger is a South African charity whose mission is to create partnerships between vulnerable households and caring people to combat malnutrition which, when suffered by children, undermines the nation’s health, education and economic potential. As such, Operation Hunger concentrates its efforts in marginalized communities serving “the poorest of the poor”.
This collection consists of 6 figurines depicting African rural children and finished in cold cast pewter with hand painted details. Each piece comes individually boxed with a ‘thank you’ note from Operation Hunger enclosed.
