Maasai Collection (Cold-Cast Bronze)
The Maasai are a pastoral people, proud keepers of cattle, that live in the Great Rift Valley of East Africa. The bond they have with their animals has necessitated a seminomadic way of life for them as they follow the seasons in search of grass and water for their herds.
The two most important things that the Maasai constantly pray for are children and cattle. A Maasai may have as many as a thousand cattle in his herd. Without children, however, he is not considered truly wealthy.
